The online ‘Bring Your Own Phone’ process is complicated and often requires training videos and follow-up support calls to help the consumer understand the technical components of a process that should be much easier. TracFone's audience prizes value and time savings, so we wanted to create a solution that would help them save money quickly and easily.
The IMM team proposed a physical kiosk and supporting native application that would be located within several of TracFone’s key retail stores (Kroger, Walmart, etc.).
This kiosk and application would allow shoppers to determine their cost savings with TracFone and provide the ability to quickly and easily switch over their phone to TracFone’s network, while keeping their number and device.
